GAH. So I’ve been a bit MIA the past few (ahem, 6) months. And I wish I had a better excuse as to why. But honestly, life has just been so bloody busy.
Autumn was just MANIC. It’s the busiest time of the year for the company I work for, so inevitably there were late evenings and some Saturdays too. Before I knew it, we were digging out the office tinsel and baubles. My plan was to spend my time off over Christmas writing and giving my blog some TLC, but unfortunately I got very ill and spent the whole time crying in pain and throwing up (yuck). The first couple of months of 2018 have not been any quieter either. Work hasn’t slowed down, I celebrated my birthday, and have pretty much just been enjoying busy London life, exploring as much as I can.
My blog just got pushed further and further back in my priorities. It became normal to say “I’ll do it soon”, and gradually “soon” became weeks, even months. Now, as a new season is beginning (I say as I watch the snow falling outside), I have been feeling the overwhelming need to make changes (I am also beginning to realise that I’m often looking for change – both money and concept). One of these Spring changes will be to start posting again, hopefully regularly. That’s all I really wanted to say in this quick post, so please watch this space.
